Non-Rev Passenger Dress Code Reminder
Employees and their eligible family members are reminded that tank tops, denim clothing and athletic shoes are
not appropriate attire for pass travel in first class. Please review the employee handbook for detailed information
regarding dress code while traveling as a non-revenue passenger. Summer is a busy time for both non-revenue
and revenue traveling passengers. Please help save time at the gates by dressing appropriately.

Travel Etiquette
Information regarding travel etiquette may be found and reviewed in Section 9 of the employee handbook, the
"Terms and Conditions" listed on the NWA Easy-Write Pass, and in GEMP PASS CONDUCT in Worldspan. As
an employee, you are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with these terms and conditions while
traveling as a stand-by passenger. In addition, you are also responsible to inform your eligible family members
of the terms and conditions of traveling as a non-revenue passenger. The following excerpt is taken from GEMP
PASS CONDUCT: "Travel Etiquette".
It is the policy of Northwest Airlines that our revenue customers always come first. Those traveling on passes
or reduced rate tickets are reminded that such travel is space available/and that if necessary may be bumped
from a flight or even deplaned after boarding. Pass travelers may also be downgraded from their desired class
of service and/or may not be served meals or snacks depending on the needs of our revenue customers onboard.
During in-flight meal service/discretely identify yourself as a pass traveler to the flight attendant. If a
choice of entrees is available/tell the flight attendant you will be pleased to accept whatever is available
to ensure all revenue passengers have their meal choice.
